“Brutte sorprese”
I booked a quick night to save a few euros, and the room was decent enough. The sheets had stains, and I found unidentified hair on the blankets, so the cleanliness left something to be desired. The hotel had changed its name from Motel 6 to Vagabond Inn, a detail that would have been helpful to know before I arrived. At check‑in, I was forced to pay again even though I had already paid through Booking days earlier, and the staff insisted I settle the balance with their assistance. I reported the issue to the front desk.
The stay was quiet and clean, but overall it was only very good.
“Was excellent.”
The manager Ninfa was outstanding, and her team—Sergio, Arlene, Richie, and Jennifer—were all excellent. Everything else was perfect.
When we got there, the place had changed its name, so our reservation had expired. The hotel was fully booked, forcing us to scramble for another accommodation that evening.
“Had to go stay someplace else”
There was no Motel 6 at all.
