The host Mika was extremely friendly and helpful, arranging a motorcycle and a snorkeling tour for us and even driving us to the harbor on the day of departure. He has good local contacts and the communication with him was great. The place is suitable for budget‑conscious travelers who can get around by motorcycle, and the value for money is decent. We, however, didn’t do enough research (our mistake) and relied on the good reviews. The accommodation is very remote, the transfer from the harbor is expensive and takes a long time. There isn’t much around, and there is no water dispenser. We were heavily dependent on a motorcycle, which was a problem for our group of three since only one of us could drive. We had two rooms: one was clean, but the other had mold and a cock, and there was no hot water. The property is in a small, very local village, which is a matter of taste. The neighbors are friendly, but the place is very drafty and not quiet.
