The experience at Icaco was simply spectacular. The à la carte dishes are exquisite, the staff treated us with great kindness and willingness. The place is very pretty with 5‑star hotel facilities, and I don’t think anything better can be found in the area.

We had the entire place to ourselves, including the wonderful pool and the beach area, it truly felt like a dream. The food was unbelievably good, and there was always someone available taking great care of us. Despite the language barrier, communication worked well, and everyone made a real effort. Camila was always reachable via WhatsApp if we needed anything, such as organizing transport for our departure. The rooms are very clean, all equipped with air conditioning and warm water, and the entire property is absolutely beautiful. If there’s a place to truly switch off and relax, it’s definitely here. The outdoor shower is amazing as well! If we had the chance, we would have stayed longer without hesitation. They are so many small details that will make you love the accommodation more! You’ll feel like home the second you arrive! The property is a bit remote, but that wasn’t an issue at all. Whenever we needed something, it was arranged for us without any problems. All in all, this stay was a dream, and we can highly recommend this hotel! Thank you so much for making this stay so memorable! Henriette, Niko & Albina

Icaco is a beautiful, relaxing gem. Is tucked into the jungle, the drive to it is magical. The little “finca” / hotel Boutique has an amazing view, is taken care with loved. The infrastructure is honestly amazing, it reminds me a lot of the places in Tulum, Mexico. The only things that was hard was that the ocean is pretty rough and we had 2 babies, I would say is the only down side but that is kind of my fault I should of researched that better

Calm, goods beds. The owner sends you beautiful app before arrival, and when you arrive you are left over with 2 person that don’t speak English. Have to order breakfast at a certain time, no flexibility and poor in vegetables, fish of the day comes from the freezer

This place is a gem - the facilities are spotless and the food is unique and delicious. The atmosphere is super peaceful and secluded, perfect for those who want to get away from it all and connect with nature. Yeah, it's a bit of a trek from the main road, but it's not a deal-breaker.
