The hosts were fantastic. Yashi’s husband helped us plan outings and cooked amazing breakfasts. We stayed in the chalet, which was clean, comfy, and right near Sigiriya Rock, with plenty of eateries and a small supermarket for supplies. The only thing to note is that it’s a homestay on the owners’ property, not a hotel, so no pool, TV, or bar‑fridge in the room—though a kettle is available if you want to brew tea or coffee.

The jungle setting was beautiful, and the breakfast was great. Harsha was an incredible host who arranged an amazing Elephant Safari where we saw 100 elephants and went out of his way to book taxis for the rest of my Sri Lankan trip.

A solid spot to stay while visiting Sigiriya. The room had air‑con and a super comfy bed after a long day of traveling. Harsha was helpful with a few excursions and taxis, and the breakfast each morning was a delight. The accommodation’s setting is gorgeous and just a short walk from a bunch of cafés, restaurants, and Lion’s Rock. A fantastic start to our Sri Lankan adventure—nothing to change.
