The stay was quiet despite the traffic on Lincoln Highway, and a courtesy call checked that the room met expectations; I have no complaints.

“In short, I am not pleased with this particular hotel in this location because my personal experience this weekend”

The property itself was fine and the room was very clean, but the cable/TV needed improvement, the ad promised a continental breakfast that arrived at noon, the ad also advertised a pool that was supposedly closed for the season according to the front desk staff, yet another staff member later said it was not closed—this pool was the main reason I chose the hotel; I was charged on the day of booking, which should not have happened, and a hundred dollars was taken as a security deposit at check‑in, whereas that is normally collected at booking.

The staff were very hospitable, I stayed in their rooms and enjoyed the experience; thanks for the opportunity 😁, and I definitely loved the gym.

The building is quite old, but the renovation was thorough; the air conditioning, heating, and cooling work well and make the room comfortable; front desk and cleaning staff were courteous and friendly; staying multiple nights was convenient because there was a microwave and a refrigerator that kept food cold; the mini‑fridge is inside a cabinet, making access awkward; the microwave is also inside a cabinet and positioned below waist level, making it very hard to use; insects crawl out of the drainpipe in the bathroom, so something needs to be covered; the room is non‑smoking, but the nearby smoking area made cigarette smell noticeable.

The location was close to our destination, but the odor was awful and I had to buy something to mask it.
