“Modern and clean but needs some work on hotel communication.”
In Paris the rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. Our room had a window that opened like a door. On our last night the roof terrace closed early without any notice, even though the hotel and its website advertise that it stays open until midnight. We went up around 5:30 pm to enjoy the view and plan to return for the last sparkle of the Eiffel Tower, one of the best parts of the hotel. We came back at about 11:20 pm to find the terrace closed. This was a major reason we chose this hotel, and many others likely did too. If we had known it would close early on a Saturday, we would have made different plans. During the stay we could contact them via WhatsApp, and it would have been appreciated if they had warned guests about the early closure. It definitely dampened our final night in Paris and made me question staying here again. At check‑out they said they would investigate, but I never received a follow‑up. The staff implied that the rooftop was closed early simply because no one was there, which I feel should not be considered a hotel benefit.
