Great location at the southern end of town—you just need to watch your approach on the road because it is the SH1 if you’re driving from the south. The staff were so nice and waited for us to arrive at 8 pm. The room we had was perfect for the one night, very clean and comfortable. I have driven past here many times and never needed to stop, so this was perfect for us as we drove from Wellington to a funeral the next day. No issues at all.
