“AOSTE et son grand Paradis - à voir au moins une fois dans sa vie”

We came back the second time, and it’s a dream for hikers—close enough to the center to reach the cable car, Grand Paradis, or Grand Saint Bernard. The restaurant serves top‑quality meat at a fair price, and the family‑run vibe lets dogs in. Aoste, its center, and surroundings are stunning. On the downside, Aoste enforces strict speed limits; if you’re in the hyper‑center and drive a car, you’ll face a lot of cameras—mistakes can cost 95 euros, with a ticket arriving by mail warning you of a reserved route. No excuses.

“A lovely place to stay and have dinner.”

Everything at the accommodation was marvelous, and the dinner was included. The only downside is that the location isn’t very dog‑friendly.

The staff were kind, and the location is convenient for visiting Val d’Aoste. The room on the road side was a bit noisy, and the restaurant is a bit pricey.

The welcome was very friendly, the room spacious and well‑insulated, the restaurant good, and the parking convenient. The location faces a large roundabout, the decor is mediocre, and the shower floor becomes very slippery when wet. Moreover, after a discrepancy on the restaurant bill, the person I told about the 3‑euro error handled it in a rather ungraceful way, which I did not appreciate at all; I will never return to this establishment.
