The hotel is close to the centre of Funchal. All windows open onto an inner courtyard, and the neighbours’ air conditioner was very loud.

The central location is very close to every attraction in Funchal. The house was slightly hot.

The flat is nice in a great location—near the centre, restaurants, shops. It has everything you need (including a kitchen and bathroom), is comfortable and clean, and comes with towels, a hairdryer, a fan, and a fully equipped kitchen. The hot water pressure is weak. There is no air conditioning, so it gets quite hot on warm days and you can’t ventilate (only a fan is available). Ants are present (a spray is provided). I missed a balcony (the “view” is into the inner block of the building). Occasionally, there are homeless people around the building, especially on Sundays when nearby restaurants are closed.
