I have to split this review between the houseboat and Marina Weyhe. First, the marina: the goal of the visit was to test our new boat before heading to Croatia. The harbor master and second harbor master were fantastic—absolutely friendly and helpful. They assisted with the slip at the steep slipway and offered useful tips, and were always available. The slipways were good and the harbor is suitable for docking. The restaurant “Smokey Island” in the marina is good, inexpensive, and the staff very friendly. Now the houseboat: we’re a bit divided. The house itself is lovingly furnished and well-equipped. Unfortunately, the heating didn’t work satisfactorily and the cleanliness was only average, not perfect. Sheets and towels must be brought by guests; the reminder is hard to see when booking (maybe I was just too stupid). Thankfully we called beforehand. Also, it wasn’t clear that the beds in both bedrooms are only 1.40 m. The price of €660 for three nights, including final cleaning, is absolutely too high and unjustified. For the price, you’d expect much more, or it’s simply impossible given the circumstances, so it’s simply overpriced.
