Honestly, nothing about this place lived up to expectations – the surroundings were awful and the facilities just average. To make matters worse, there was a power cut in the middle of the night, the walls did nothing to block noise, and I could constantly hear other guests opening doors and moving around.

The room was surprisingly roomy, with a huge TV and a bathroom that had all the toiletries you could need. They even offered two different pillow firmnesses and cleaned the place every day. I got the key at 8 am even though check‑in wasn’t supposed to be until 2 pm, which was a nice surprise, and the hotel is right by the pedestrian zone and the metro.

The hotel sits just a short 15‑minute walk from Guanyin Bridge, and both the room and the bathroom were kept tidy and spotless. It’s perched on the 14th floor, so the lobby area below looks a bit like a rundown building, but once you step up the atmosphere changes completely.

The staff were quick to answer both online and at the front desk, and the room was surprisingly spacious, clean and well‑ventilated, complete with toiletries, a hairdryer and a heated smart toilet. I snagged the place for under €14 thanks to a year‑end deal, which felt like a solid price. Unfortunately the building is in the middle of renovations – workers crowd the elevators, the lobby looks like a mess and the entrance is constantly busy.

Location couldn't be better and the staff were genuinely friendly, handling everything fast and professionally. The room itself was spotless and equipped with some nice new‑look amenities, making the price feel like a great deal. I'd definitely recommend it.
