Right across the bridge from the ski resort, just a five‑minute walk, we stayed in a clean room with a mountain view; we didn’t book a private toilet but the shared ones were spotless and never crowded, a blow dryer was provided, and my daughter adored the hot pool in the bath area. The pillows felt a bit firm, which is typical in Japan, and I’m simply not used to that firmness.
