The location was good. The carpet was dirty, there was no pool, and they never mentioned it was closed. The rooms were odd and offered no views.

The room was huge and had plenty of space for a family. Walmart is right next door, literally. Getting on and off the main highway was easy. We went to a concert at Star Lake, a 45‑minute drive that didn’t feel long at all. The shower in room 317 was so tiny that a person over 250 lbs probably wouldn’t fit.

Breakfast was adequate. We had trouble sleeping because of highway noise, so we bought earplugs. We were triple‑billed and it took a few days to resolve. Hall carpeting was being torn up and the pool was closed for repairs. During a five‑night stay the maid only came once; the front desk didn’t mention that maid service is only every three days. Wet towels piled up and trash cans overflowed. We saw weeds overrun the front of the hotel.
