The location of the place is really nice, and from the top you can see a great view of the sea and Sarti. The property sits a bit on a hill, which felt a little tiring on the first day, but from the second day onward it was no problem at all. We were especially impressed by how welcoming the hotel owners were; they are very friendly, greet guests personally, and happily give tips on beautiful beaches and good restaurants, making you feel truly welcome. The rooms are well furnished and have everything you need. We found the mosquito nets on the windows and balcony door, the safe, and the Nespresso machine with pods in the room particularly useful. Parking is plenty on the public street in front of the property, though the cars are in the sun. The center of Sarti is within a short walk and has everything you need. We also liked the breakfast a lot – it’s a bit small and simple, but perfectly adequate and lovingly prepared. Everything was replenished regularly and there was a little variety each day. The kids also enjoyed the breakfast. The only small issue was the coffee at breakfast; I would have preferred a proper cappuccino, but they offer more of a classic filtered coffee with milk, which is common in Greece. The hilltop location might feel a bit odd to some guests at first, but for us it was no problem after the first day.
