The owner was very friendly, the welcome was warm, and the conversation pleasant. The room was nice and clean; we stayed only one night and didn’t really need the TV. The porch offered a dreamy sunrise and sunset while coyotes crept by, which was enough of a counterbalance. Parking was right in front of the house. Susan prepared breakfast on request, a real highlight for American standards. The “center” – a slightly exaggerated term – is reachable by car in a few minutes, where you’ll find a gas station and one or two restaurants. We dined at the Smokehouse and can recommend it. The price‑performance was borderline due to the lack of TV, air‑conditioning, and fridge, but it was acceptable for us. We have nothing to complain about. Everything was fine.

The house is gorgeous with stunning views, and the host is fantastic, whipping up an amazing homemade breakfast. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the area.

A very pretty log cabin, lovingly furnished. We slept soundly in the bed. The host was super friendly and made us the best breakfast we’ve had on the whole trip.
