“Great value for money stay”
The location is great, the adjoining pub is very smart, and even though it’s a little dated it was cleaned to a good standard; based on the cost there wasn’t a lot wrong.
“Lovely place enjoyed our stay”
I couldn't use the on‑site carpark even though there's one just a 2‑minute walk away.
“Unfortunately, we won’t be back.”
We ended up in a different room and the carpets were filthy, the banisters were sticky and ungraspable, and the ceiling had marks everywhere; the bed was tiny and left us disappointed after two great stays there before. Breakfast wasn’t offered—only brunch starting at 10:30, which meant we had to leave by that time; we had paid online for breakfast, but when we arrived we were told there was no breakfast, only brunch.

The location is convenient in the middle of town, close to all amenities, with a bar and TVs to watch football; one of our rooms was already in use, but they quickly changed that.
