The setting was lovely and peaceful, and the location was pretty. The day before, when I asked to cancel, they told me there was no restaurant service, which was disappointing since I’d planned to dine there. Breakfast was minimal: toast, juice, and coffee. The facilities looked nice but were a bit worn and not clean enough. Wi‑Fi coverage was weak.

The personal service and calm atmosphere were great. I didn’t stay long enough to fully enjoy it, but I’ll come back.

The spot is beautiful, right in nature. The booking described a two‑bedroom apartment: a double bed in the bedroom, a living room with two beds, a stove, and a bathroom. When I arrived, the bedroom had two single beds joined together instead of a double. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were too old, so sleep was rough. The rooms are a bit dated, but the place is still nice. I didn’t like that the bath gel bottle was filled with water, as was the dish soap. I paid 85€ for the night, so small details like that hurt the image.

The owner is a very good host. Book to eat in the evening, the food is simply superb. I have eaten in brilliant resturants, not many could compete with her food. Excellent value for money. Breakfast is ok. In the summer, autumn and spring, this place is magic. In the winter it is cold but an experience not to be dismissed. The breakfast did not compare with the evening meal. For Spanish people it is perfect. However, for the rest of the world who are not in the Spanish habit of eating another meal at 1030hrs, before having lunch at 1400hrs, a more substantial breakfast is a must. We were hungry by the time we drove to the end of the 100 meter drive!!
