Checking in was completely self‑service, the room felt spacious and spotless, and there’s a pizzeria right downstairs for dinner. If you head toward Martino de la Bataglia (hotel location) you’ll find you’re 25 minutes from Desenzano train station and the buses only run about once an hour, but the place is definitely worth the money.
The air‑conditioned rooms offer great value for money, and Manuela is a very friendly host who speaks and writes German and is happy to answer questions. The on‑site pizzeria is delicious, Chef Luca is always cheerful and gives good tips, and the staff are super helpful and courteous. I’ll definitely come back.

The owner is very kind, there’s a fridge in the room, and the décor is distinctive. The pool is fantastic. The air‑conditioner doesn’t cool well, the shower is too small, the mattress is a bit uncomfortable for me, and the blinds don’t close completely so early morning light seeps in.

Manuela was very friendly and always ready to help via SMS or WhatsApp, and we appreciated having a free pool available at all times. Unfortunately, the room felt a bit cramped and wasn’t very clean; on the first day the air‑conditioner didn’t cool and the mini‑fridge in the room didn’t work either. Manuela tried to fix both issues, but she couldn’t get the fridge to work.

I wasn’t sure about the welcome because I never actually saw them! The location is quiet and the pool is nice. The room was dated, not very clean, and a word of advice: fix the electrical sockets before someone gets seriously hurt!
