The host went out of his way to keep us comfortable despite an electricity outage caused by major floods. The cottages were charming with very good beds and bedding. Nothing to dislike.

We had an absolute blast at this place, and it was hands down the highlight of our trip. The host was super friendly, and we loved having the dogs around - we even got to go on hikes with them and cool off in the pool during the hot afternoons. It was basically idyllic, and we're already planning our next visit.

The owners were super friendly and helpful, and their dogs were adorable. The property itself was a bit worn out, but it was clean and spacious. The only downside was the water supply issue - the tanks were empty, and we didn't have access to running water. It was a bit of a hassle.

This place was a great spot to stay when visiting the Baviaanskloof - it was secure, comfortable, and the dinner they provided in our room was a nice touch. The only downsides were that the bathroom had no hot water and the basin leaked, but overall it was a solid choice.
