The hotel was dirty and dingy, towels looked like they hadn’t been washed, the AC unit was falling apart, and the door to the room kept sticking, requiring both hands and a special technique to open – a major fire hazard.

“If you're a pack mule on a budget, give 'er. It was clean and the beds were comfy.”

The staff were friendly and the facilities stayed clean, and the bed was comfy – basically what you’d expect for the cheap room rates, so I didn’t have high hopes. The elevators were out of service, which was a real pain, but the staff kindly moved us from the third floor to the second. The first floor had nothing open, and every piece of pavement and each floor transition was uneven, making it annoying to roll suitcases and adding to the frustration of the broken elevators. The water pressure was weak, so the shower felt like a weak sprinkler. All in all, if you’re okay with lugging your luggage and a shower that barely works, it’s fine, but the low rates do reflect the room quality.

“Poorly maintained. I would not recommend.”

The place was very run down and needed repairs; the elevator wasn’t working, it smelled of smoke, the beds were very uncomfortable and one was broken. I would not recommend it.

Convenient location and friendly staff. The building needs a refresh – it’s a bit dingy with old carpet, cracks in the roof drywall, and the duvet had no duvet cover. Still, it was the best price I could find, so it’s good value.
