It was a wonderful hotel amid fields of olive trees with a dreamlike view of Castel del Monte. The hotel sits in a beautiful garden with a large pool. The owners were very friendly, and the terrace breakfast was excellent. For us it was the best hotel on our Apulia trip. It’s suitable not only for visiting Castel del Monte or coastal towns like Trani or Bisceglie but also for relaxing days in a dreamy landscape. The only downside was that two nights were too short; we would have liked to stay longer.

The warm and knowledgeable welcome, the location, the room with stunning views from the roof terrace, the harmonious and relaxed design of the whole setting, the Italian breakfast with hearty regional products, and the relaxed parking on the closed grounds were all excellent. The hosts offered good restaurant and regional shopping recommendations, told interesting stories about the house and the area (also in English), and allowed us to use the beautiful pool—though it was still a bit cool for local standards.
