The rooms sit on the upper level with a shared kitchen and shower, and the view over the fjord is pretty amazing. It’s the cheapest accommodation near Preikestolen and Stavanger that isn’t a hostel, so despite a few compromises it’s not a bad place to stay. Finding it was a bit of a challenge because the listed location is wrong by a kilometer and there’s no sign on site; I had to navigate using clues from the uploaded photos. The stairs up to the upper floor are a good warm‑up for a hiking trip in Norway, and the name is misleading since there’s no breakfast option other than the kitchen where you can cook yourself.
