The balcony surprised me pleasantly, and the spot was decent. However, the owner’s communication was unpleasant, a stain that looked like blood was on my pillow, the front door was hard to lock and other guests left it open late, the bathroom had bad ventilation and mold on the ceiling, the bed was awkwardly against the wall—maybe a headboard would help—and for a private house the price isn’t justified; student‑accommodation rooms in the summer are similarly priced but offer far better value, so this place would suit long‑term tenants better than tourists paying a premium.

Nothing good; I was deceived and never got my booking money back. A day before arrival the owner texted that he couldn’t provide the place I’d paid for and asked me to cancel in the system, but the booking rules said I’d lose the money if I did, so I replied that he could just keep it and the issue was solved. He kept insisting I cancel, so I called Booking support, who assured me that if I cancelled I’d lose the money but that they would refund it. Then everyone said the other side wouldn’t respond, and the money never came back. The owner scammed me and Booking failed to fulfill its duties, so I had to urgently find another place to avoid sleeping on the street. The owner’s messages, confirming my story, were in the Booking system.
