“Très bel endroit pour un court séjour inoubliable à Santorin”

The architecture layered into the volcanic rock on the caldera’s flank is stunning, and the view is fabulous. The pool overlooking the caldera is beautiful. Our family cave room was spacious, well equipped, and the bedding was very comfortable. Breakfast by the pool was great. We would have liked a proper kitchenette in the apartment instead of just a small fridge and kettle.

Excellent location, good service, central, within walking distance of everything, the bus stop, simply a pleasure of a hotel. Nothing to complain about.

“I really appreciated the wonderful staff and the breathtaking Caldera view.”

I booked a Premier Double Room with Caldera View and had a mix of great and not-so-great moments. The staff member who assisted me was absolutely wonderful and delivered top‑class service. The terrace view was breathtaking, and starting each day with breakfast on the terrace felt lovely. If you stay longer than three days, a bit more variety at breakfast would help, as the menu repeats daily. The hotel isn’t reachable by taxi because there’s no road access and there are many stairs, yet a staff member met me at the taxi and helped with my luggage, and did the same when I checked out, which I really appreciated. The room itself was nice, but the ceiling was very low, so I kept bumping my head until I got used to it. It had two windows and a door, but the windows couldn’t be opened for fresh air, and I couldn’t open the curtains because everything inside was visible from outside. The only way to get fresh air was to open the door, but that was hard because the terrace was shared with other guests and people were always looking toward the room. A better solution for privacy while still allowing fresh air and natural light would be great.

The view of the west and the jacuzzi were fantastic, but the water in the jacuzzi and pool was overly chlorinated, making my skin itch. There was no bar or way to order anything, and water for drinking was missing; at least a liter per day for coffee or tea would have helped, though the welcome was nice.
