“Boa.”
The place is clean. There is construction and street renovation noise, especially at night, right below the window.

Excellent. The only downside was that it had only one bed, but I needed two beds.

I chose a king bed on Booking, but it turned out to be small, and no staff spoke Spanish or helped me fix the issue.

The breakfast, location, and staff were good, except for the concierge who told me that a full‑size bed was the same as a queen‑size bed. The room was supposed to have a queen‑size bed, but it had a full‑size one, which is smaller. The air conditioner didn’t work, so they put a portable unit in, leaving the window always open with a hose and the blackout curtains wouldn’t lower. The mattresses were a disaster because they sagged. The closet is for one person and has no door; there are no drawers to store clothes. It’s the worst price‑quality ratio—$500 per night. A scam.

The breakfast never opened, but when it did it smelled amazing; tea, coffee and water were available all day in the lobby, and there were plenty of cafés within a 5‑15 minute walk. Shake Shack sits right on the corner, a target is a 10‑minute walk either way, and Broadway shows and Times Square are a quick stroll away, so I was in and out of the hotel all day and saw a lot. The bed was very comfortable, though I struggled to get out of it in the mornings. The shower was fine, water pressure was not great—probably because I was on the 5th floor. The staff were friendly and always welcomed me when I walked in; they even held my luggage for free before check‑in and when I checked out, saving me from dragging it around the city. I booked this place when I arrived in New York and didn’t regret it at all. The Uber shuttle transfer was only an 8‑minute walk to catch back to Newark, which was handy. The only downside was that the window wouldn’t open or I couldn’t get it open; it would have been nice to have fresh air. Other than that, it was brilliant.
