I wasn’t allowed to check in and they said there was no online booking; that was the only positive note.

The place sits between Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar road, on a hilltop beside a school; the slanted road can be tough for older guests if a taxi drops you at the main entrance, but otherwise it’s a peaceful, quiet area with no school noise. A cab or taxi from Panchgani bus stand costs 300‑400. We only tried tea and coffee, which were decent, and there’s no nearby store—walking downhill to the main highway takes about 10 minutes, so wear shoes, not sandals. We stayed in a family room on the back of the main hotel, just one floor up with no lifts. The room was clean but didn’t have hot water, soap, toothpaste, towels, a kettle, or a coffee machine. The network was decent but no wifi; UPI payments worked and parking was available.

The spot is great and the staff are friendly, but the parking area could use some upgrades.

The surroundings are fantastic, almost at the mountain top, parking is plentiful, the food is lip‑smacking, and the staff are courteous.
