I happened to get a private stay and was free to use it as I liked, but if there had been other guests, I might have had to be more considerate (talking, footsteps). The building’s design reminded me of a student camp from my school days. The owner personally greeted me kindly and politely. The accommodation is mostly used by overseas guests, so there was only a shower, and the shower room was a bit narrow; it might be hard for families with small children.

The building and equipment were new, which felt pleasant. After booking the accommodation, I received no welcome message, so I worried a bit—only the name, phone number, and payment amount were provided. I arrived at the lodge at 17:00, but no one was there and my calls went unanswered, which made me very anxious. I wondered if I had been scammed and started searching for another place, but then the owner finally came, and I felt relieved. The preparations were still incomplete; maybe the business had just started. He is a very good person, and if those aspects improved, it could become a great facility.

Very nice place, spacious dining and living area. The bedrooms are upstairs, with a toilet and simple kitchen on the 2nd floor. The owner and manager were helpful and friendly. The karst plateau and a number of caves are nearby, it was very quiet. The kitchen is basic, so we self-catered using the microwave. Although the local supermarket has a limited offering, there is a drug store and two convenience stores nearby

Two women ran the place and they were super friendly, so I had a great time staying there. Since there’s a calligraphy teacher on site, it could be a good spot if you like “writing” or calligraphy. The rural setting means there are a few stink bugs, so I had to be a bit careful, but overall the value was fine.
