“War super, hier ein paar kleine Infos, die man nirgends findet”
The host was super friendly and helpful; there were plenty of information flyers about local activities, nearby shops, and medical facilities. The kitchen was SUPER equipped with many sharp knives, several cutting boards, even Tupperware, plenty of dishes and cutlery, and almost every utensil you’d find in a kitchen store. There was an oven, a fridge with a freezer, and a dishwasher – not shown in the photos or mentioned in the description at the time of writing. A 24‑hour shop across the street supplied eggs, pasta, etc. Everything worked; the beds were comfortable, mattresses about firmness 2 (recommended), pillows were comfortable but soft, so bring your own if you prefer firmer ones. The toilet had a large seat and was comfortable. The floor heating? The tiles were warm anyway. The price‑performance ratio was top. On the downside, the bathroom had a basket full of core soaps with some hair stuck to them; it didn’t bother us because we didn’t use them and didn’t touch that corner. Everything else was clean. Not exactly a negative, but good to know: hot water is limited, and you have to wait a while for it to refill. You can shower three times in a row without issue, but filling the bathtub and showering pushes the limits. The bathtub is noticeably larger than standard. There’s a step in the bathroom that can be tripped over if you forget to turn on the light. No microwave. The bathroom taps are a bit strong; if you accidentally turn them fully on, you can easily wet the floor. The shower hose has a leak somewhere, so you get low water pressure. It’s enough for showering, but rinsing shampoo takes longer with long hair. The village is quite remote, only reachable via winding country roads. Public transport is about 2 km away in the next village, so a car is essential. It’s very quiet, and you can see foxes, deer, rabbits, etc., repeatedly.
