“Excellent hotel with good location”

The modern room was neat and clean, yet the toilet flush failed to work and the Muslim shower leaked.

“Disappointing!”

Staff clearly need more training; they were unhelpful in fixing problems and I had to chase them several times just to get simple requests done. The shift manager didn’t know the charges in the room’s service catalogue and overcharged me until I pointed it out. On arrival the bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty, and there was no clear laundry billing process—charges seemed arbitrary and had to be corrected once I flagged them. The staff’s indifference to these errors was most concerning, making the stay disappointing overall.

The room was clean and well kept, breakfast was decent with a good selection, staff were polite, and the location was reasonably convenient. However, it’s a guesthouse, not a hotel, so keep that in mind. The rooms weren’t soundproofed, so I could hear noise from neighbors; the Wi‑Fi was unstable and kept dropping; room service was slow—my tea took about 40–45 minutes to arrive. There were no complimentary welcome snacks or refreshments besides bottled water.
