“Bad experience”
The double bed actually consisted of two single mattresses, and there was no shower gel in the toilet; the room was dirty and smelled like someone had just left it. The pavement outside was noisy.

The staff were professional and polite, and overall the venue was delightful; it was a bit tired but I would have liked more time to explore the grounds. Breakfast was great value, gargantuan and included. I would definitely stay there again and bring others in the group if that is the standard. I couldn’t fault it.

The location was good. The hotel felt very tired and clearly needed refurbishment.

The location was beautiful and very convenient for where we wanted to be. We brought our dog, and it was a wonderful place for him, even receiving a lovely doggie box. We knew the dog wasn’t allowed in the restaurant area, but the room where you could eat breakfast only had low coffee tables; it would be better to have proper tables like those for other paying guests.
