Il Vecchio Frantoio Appartamenti sits just steps from Laterza’s interesting historic area and offers parking and a charming stay in an old house. Breakfast is very good, thanks to the host’s availability. For anyone wanting to visit Gravina and the surroundings, it’s a solid choice, and a night at Vecchio Frantoio Ristorante, only a 4‑minute walk away, is also recommended. A non‑property issue: three days before arrival, the municipality changed the direction of many streets, confusing our GPS; the host helped us sort it out.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels and sheets were spotless and white. The room lacks large windows and a view, yet it remains cozy and pleasant, with plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom feels a bit dated but is clean and functional. Breakfast and coffee were available, and the best part is the amazing view right outside the front door!

“Würde ich nicht mehr buchen”

The first impression was tidy and orderly. The room was damp and smelled of dampness from the basement. Breakfast was fine but nothing special.

Breakfast offered a variety of dishes (cured meats, sausages, yogurts, pastries, coffee), prepared at our chosen time. Parking was on the street right by the hotel, directly at the entrance. The room had mold on the ceiling of the bathroom.
