The view. There was little space in the bathroom.

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about.

The place was clean and pleasant, with friendly hosts. The shared kitchen was well equipped – sink, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, dishes and cutlery. A fridge and a kettle were also in the hallway next to the room. My room had a small balcony. The TV offered terrestrial channels; after returning from the trail I watched the news or turned on a music channel. It’s close to the trail in Brzeźno and there are shops and restaurants nearby. The room was supposedly for three people, but the bathroom was tiny – it might be okay for short people, but I’m 186 cm and 95 kg and it felt too small. The shower is so cramped that you can’t bend over to wash your feet, there’s nowhere to put a bottle of shampoo, and you can’t even put it on the floor because you can’t bend. Reaching the sink to wash your face or brush your teeth is impossible because your elbows hit the side of the shower stall. A shelf under the mirror would help, because there’s little space on the sink. Sitting on the toilet, which is wedged into a corner, is very uncomfortable – you can’t spread your feet because the sink is on the left and a radiator on the right. Your feet stay in front, and to get up you have to grab the door frame and pull yourself forward with your hands. Please don’t get mad at this description, but try the bathroom yourself and see if I’m right. I think the room should have a single bed and the bathroom enlarged to accommodate people. I only stayed three nights, so I managed, but if I were staying with two others for two weeks I would be very dissatisfied. There were other minor issues: the Wi‑Fi router on this floor kept dropping every 10 seconds (needs replacement), a very loose 230 V socket (the phone charger kept sparking – socket needs replacement), and the mattress was so soft that you almost sleep on a hard board. But compared to the tiny bathroom, these things are minor.

The owner was smiling and didn’t interfere with the stay. The internet was weak.
