The location, room size, food and hospitality went beyond our expectations; the Hug Inn gives a very convenient and comfortable base in the heart of Phrae, just a short walk to the morning market where we enjoyed “Sai Bat” offering early‑morning food for the monks; the Hug Inn is a contemporary, purpose‑designed hotel with a clean, spacious layout and an attached high‑quality cafe and restaurant.

The Hug Inn Phrae truly deserves a hug; from the staff to the rooms, cleanliness, location, breakfast and hospitality it was a wonderful and very quiet stay for a very good price‑performance ratio; the nice old town is very easy to explore from here; a 7‑Eleven is nearby and in the evening there’s a small food market close to the accommodation; I’ll definitely come back!
