Hotel des Artistes, Naples, is situated in a quiet courtyard, centrally located near a Metro stop, train station, and San Gennaro Cathedral. Elegant and restored, the hotel offers modern amenities and cordial service. Via Duomo, a popular shopping street, and artisan Via San Gregorio Armeno alley are nearby, with easy access to Naples' sights, port, Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano.

Location. The hotel claims 24/7 reception, but that’s not true: after midnight I waited 30 minutes, rang the bell, and the staff were apparently sleeping, only showing up with an excuse that the manager was in the bathroom. The same happened at checkout, early in the morning; I had to ring the bell several times because the person couldn’t wake up or do his job. Another issue was that at arrival I was told the payment hadn’t gone through and I’d have to pay cash, but later I discovered I had already paid. The woman at the desk was nice, so no big problem at the end, but overall the staff are unreliable and cannot stay at reception 24/7 as advertised. The front doors are huge and hard to open and close, and the elevator behaves the same.

Nice room. There was no breakfast option, which you’d expect at a 4‑star hotel.

El equipo. Siempre la personas son lo más importante de un alojamiento. Ojo. La habitación es pequeña cuando reservas en la oferta booking. Pero es bonito
