Hotel Provencal is situated in the heart of Saint-Raphaël, just 50 metres from the beach and 300 metres from the train station, offering wired internet access. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with en suite facilities, TV, and telephone, accessible by lift. A daily buffet breakfast is served. Nearby attractions include the thalassotherapy centre at Frejus, picturesque Haut Var villages, and the Saint Raphael Valescure golf course.

The room I booked was roomy and well-equipped with a large fridge and a coffee maker; the bathroom was spacious with a shower and sink, and I liked the balcony and TV. The bed was comfortable with good bedding and towels, and the blinds effectively blocked the morning sun. However, there was no dining table or desk—just a small tablet or stand—and the air conditioning and lighting felt a little harsh.

The bed was comfy, there was tea service, a fridge, and storage furniture—everything was good. A tablet was available for writing, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub and window shutters. The bathtub glass wasn’t protective enough, the writing tablet was a bit small, the room was slightly tight for a suitcase, and overall there was a lack of space.

The spot is excellent, the staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast was hearty—highly recommended. The only downside was that the bathroom door was a sliding door that wouldn’t close.

Its location is close to everything—transport, beach, shops, and restaurants—plus the AC is great. The reception was very professional and friendly.
