“A nice modern hotel in a rural location with 2 restaurants nearby”

Breakfast came as an assisted buffet, though we usually prefer self‑service. The food was good. Since the hotel has no on‑site restaurant, we dined at nearby La Trattoria, which the charming young receptionist recommended, and it was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the hotel’s garage offered secure overnight parking included in the room rate. I’d just prefer a self‑service breakfast; otherwise everything was fine.

There is no self‑service at the buffet. You have to order items like salt, pepper, and butter separately from the staff, which is inconvenient. At 11 pm the staff called the room with a baby inside to ask when we would arrive for breakfast. That was very unpleasant and insensitive.

The breakfast isn’t a buffet. I wouldn’t return just for that.

The staff are helpful and friendly, and the cleanliness and breakfast are excellent. There is no insect netting and the shower area is small.
