It’s a beautiful, historic building in a lovely riverside setting. We loved the new puppy and kitten! The interior décor and comfort level need a major upgrade to justify a 4‑star rating. The gardens are neglected and would benefit from some flower planting and a bit of imagination.

The overall location and structure were good. The only downside was a somewhat disappointing breakfast that missed all the fantastic local products.

The Mill is stunning, with spacious, clean rooms, great breakfast, and the dinners at the restaurant were also excellent! Daniele, the owner, was extremely kind and hospitable, and he suggested several itineraries and local spots to visit. It was truly a wonderful experience! Nothing negative.

The spot is gorgeous, surrounded by lush greenery, quiet, relaxing, and a real treat for the senses. The building feels inviting and charming, renovated to offer every comfort while still preserving a historic vibe. Daniele, the owner, is friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves authentic Lucan dishes, all delicious. In short, a beautiful Lucan find. I would only suggest adding a few more lactose‑free options at breakfast.
