The location is great, everything is within walking distance, and the neighbourhood is very quiet; Casa Idalia is spotless, well maintained, and cozy; breakfast was very tasty, even a fresh cake was offered; host Mena is fantastic, always on the go, very friendly, and keeps an eye on everything; the only downside was that the room was quite small and there was no storage space in the bathroom for toiletries.

This spot is a fantastic base for a few days in the area. Lou and Charlie, the hosts, were a wonderful couple who made us feel instantly welcome, even though our chats were brief. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and we even got Mena’s banana bread recipe. The rooms were cozy and carried a faint cinnamon scent. It’s only 2 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes by car to Tróia, so I highly recommend it if you’re nearby.

The experience was excellent! The main highlight of this accommodation is undoubtedly its privileged location, very close to the beach and just a few minutes from Vila da Comporta, making it the perfect spot for a long weekend of rest and tranquility. I also want to point out the friendliness and availability of all the staff, who made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast is very varied, with quality products and a great way to start the day. The combination of location, comfort, and excellent team makes this accommodation a solid choice for anyone looking to explore the area. Undoubtedly a place to return to!
