The place is very central, close to Sandton and the airport, and conveniently located near major roads; security in the complex is excellent. The stay was good overall, but when we arrived I didn’t realize we needed an access code for the apartment until the security guard asked, and the kitchenette was small, lacking coffee and milk but offering tea.

The late check-in due to the construction work in our room was understandable, but what really got my goat was the inflexibility with the checkout the next day. The landlady sent her maid to knock on our door at exactly 10 am, and then ordered her to stand there until we left. It was a really uncomfortable and awkward situation.
