“Best place for the budget travelers.”
I stayed at this homestay in Kalpitiya a few weeks back and it was great. The house is spacious and worth the price, featuring two large bedrooms with new air conditioning, a smaller room, a big kitchen, and all the necessary kitchenware. The landlady was extremely welcoming and helpful. We wanted to cook, but there was no cooker at first; when I called her, she immediately brought us an electric cooker—even in heavy rain! Her kindness and hospitality made a real difference. It’s a real bargain, and I’ll definitely come back on my next Kalpitiya trip. Highly recommended!
