The breakfast was excellently arranged with a variety of rolls, cold cuts, cheese, and preserves. The buffet added a nice touch with organic juices and dairy products, and the service handled a fine egg dish. The shower was a bathtub; it was fine overall, but the tub lacked a mat, so the floor became slick.

Breakfast was good.

The staff were friendly and service‑oriented. The stay included breakfast, free coffee and tea, a sparkling water, and a beer. It’s a small, pleasant hotel with a lovely terrace and close to public transport.

The interior is playful and clearly a creative makeover of a typical 80s German hotel. You can see and feel the limitations of a standard 80s hotel – acoustics, low ceiling, and temperature control.

Breakfast was superb. Besides the cereal, everything else was served: various rolls, sausages, and cheeses. Egg dishes were freshly prepared. The beds were old and very soft. A foam layer under the mattress cover had settled over the years, creating a thick bulge beneath the cover. That’s not usually offered at a normal price of 166,00 €; nevertheless, we slept remarkably well.
