The view of the bay and Sakurajima volcano is stunning, which is the main quality of the property that offers decent rooms and a public bathroom and toilet. It’s very far from Kagoshima city center, has limited public transport, and the services stop early in the evening. It’s good for a relaxing stay and to admire the view, but not very convenient for exploring the city.

The view was great, but the hotel sits far from the city center and there’s no public transport. Parking costs money, and the hotel café is usually closed – we only saw it open once during our five‑day stay. There was no front desk reception; check‑in happened on a tablet in the lobby. The equipment was very basic and the hotel was poorly insulated, so the common areas got hot in summer.

The view of Sakurajima was incredible, the décor was unique, and the common areas were clean. It was a delight to swim right outside the accommodation, facing the volcano! The only downside was the lack of on‑site parking; we had to use a nearby paid lot.

The space was surreal and left a memorable impression unlike anywhere else. The only issue was that the towels, bedding, and room odor were a bit off.
