The staff were lovely and did what they could to accommodate us. The accommodation itself was good, but it felt tired; it seemed once amazing but now neglected. Breakfast was cold and lacked variety; the Thai breakfast was better than the American, but both were cold.

Our pool villa was great and the whole resort looked well‑maintained. The villa had two rooms, giving plenty of space for our family, and the 3 × 6 m pool was a highlight. On the beach there were many lounge chairs with umbrellas, and the beach was cleaned of the washed‑up dirt. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The house was overall better than advertised online; the bathroom had a shower and a bathtub, and the bedroom had a large bed and a loft bed. The staff spoke little or no English. Breakfast was the same every day and cold. The villa had clearly aged and its best years were behind it. Cleanliness was not the resort’s strong suit: it looked clean at first glance, but upon closer inspection, many areas above the cleaning staff’s view were dirty, so we had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning ourselves to feel comfortable. Some windows had 2 cm gaps, letting small animals in; geckos were regular guests, and we also encountered spiders, millipedes, and other small creatures at the door. The resort is somewhat remote, and without transport there are only a few nearby places to eat or buy groceries. To the left and right of the resort is a beach with a lot of trash, because there are no other hotel facilities there.

The pictures on the website were very nice, but reality was a bit different. We were the only guests, and the bungalow clearly needed renovation; the tiles in the pool were loose in places, and the pool was not clean. The beach section was clean, but the areas to the left and right were completely dirty. There was a swimming ban… I don’t even know where to stop. We had to bring our belongings back and left 30 minutes later.

The place is right on the beach, well equipped, the sunbeds are always free, and it's not too crowded, just like the rest of the area. The locals run it; they don’t speak English, but we got by with Google Translate. The in‑room pool is very nice, the room is spacious and clean. We relaxed a lot and felt the hotel was environmentally conscious. The only downside was that the shower didn’t have hot water.

We rented a beach bungalow for four as a family and had a wonderful time. The resort has direct beach access and is well maintained, and the room was clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful, arranging everything for us—from taxis and scooters to massages and meals that were delivered to the resort. Breakfast is supplied by an external vendor, and you can customize the order and have a Thai breakfast delivered. I would highly recommend this place.
