I had stayed there several years ago; the lobby and some common areas had been renovated, the room was large and, being on a high floor, quite quiet. However, the price is very high for the level of service offered, the rooms are spacious and stylish but the furniture needs restoration and more care, especially given the hotel’s price range, and it’s a shame because with a few more tweaks it could be a real gem.

The location is great, the lobby is nice and the staff are friendly, but it’s extremely noisy—don’t expect to sleep without ear plugs unless you pay to upgrade to a room away from the street, the rooms need repairs and the shower smelled moldy.

The location is great and the afternoon wine for guests was wonderful, but there was no water, kettle, or coffee/tea making in the room, and the bedroom was very small and cramped.

The staff were amazing, especially Dery, and the location is great; overall a genuinely brilliant stay. The bathroom was quite dark, which was the only downside, and the lifts moved a bit slowly.
