We loved the fantastic spot surrounded by sea and beach yet right in the charming town, and the staff were sweet, helpful and made us feel welcome. Celebrating our wedding anniversary, the hotel surprised us with bubbles and strawberries in the room – lovely! The hotel was quiet, which was a nice change after wandering the busy touristy town. We dined at the restaurant one evening and it was disappointing; the chef seems stuck in the past, every plate was topped with colorful foam that added no flavor, looking pretty but tasting empty. Simpler dishes would have been better.

The location and service were great, though the overall vibe felt a little tired.

The location, in the heart of the city and close to the beach. The style & soul of the building that remains. The amazing view. Some of the staff members were really helpful & adorable. Inconsistent Service: While some staff members were adorable, others were rude and almost disrespectful. Poor Maintenance: Though cleaning was done, the upkeep was lacking, with bathroom mold and sewage odors. Disappointing Pool Service: The pool staff was unwelcoming, careless, and openly showed irritation toward guests
