The room was spacious, the location convenient, and the staff kind, but there was a damp smell in the room, the toilet kept making water noises, and the air conditioning didn’t reach the bathroom, which has a very small window, so it stayed hot and humid.

The location, room size, and parking were all great, yet the hotel required a $100 deposit upon arrival—why? That deposit is refunded after a room inspection, taking 5 to 7 days depending on your bank, which felt mediocre, especially since it wasn’t mentioned on the booking site and you’re only told by the hotel a few hours before you arrive.

We stayed here while visiting Yosemite National Park; Mariposa is a cute little town less than an hour away, and everything was within walking distance from the hotel, making it a great place to stay.
