The location is good, near the center and close to the MTR and bus stations, with restaurants around. The room we booked was different from the picture, which was disappointing because we expected the photo. I confirmed that the room we would get was the one we booked, and they said yes. We were exhausted and just wanted to rest. The lift is tiny, fits five people, but only two can bring luggage. We stayed in a couple room, literally meant for two, but it’s small. The CR was just enough to keep it down, haha. Overall, the flat is affordable and has a bed after a long walk from Gala. But don’t expect hotel vibes, haha, you know what I mean.

Nothing much to say. It’s in the middle of Hong Kong, which is convenient, but it sits above an absolutely disgusting mansion. The place was dirty, the shower didn’t work and was cold, there were cockroaches everywhere, it was noisy, the beds were horribly uncomfortable, the rooms were tiny boxes, the pillows were rock hard, there was no floor space, the doors didn’t lock properly, it smelled, and the area felt dangerous.

“Perfect stay, recommend to everyone”

It was probably the best of the “cheapest” hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The room had four beds, only one of them was upper, so the beds were proper. There was a window, so fresh cool air came in at night (February). Towels were free. Queueing for the elevator wasn’t bad compared to block A; in four days I only took the second elevator once, otherwise I jumped into the first. I could always take the other elevator and walk down one floor, no problem. I even walked down all ten floors a few times, not a big deal. The location is perfect, within walking distance of two subway lines, supermarkets, and the harbor. The Chungking Mansions atmosphere is priceless. I wish I’d stayed longer; the vacation was too short. The price is high, but it was still literally the cheapest option available.
