“コスパ最高、しっかりした施設・設備の宿”

There were no amenities and the bed was made by us, food was simple, but the facility was solid and well‑equipped, not like a former university training center. The Takatsu ski resort is a 5‑minute drive, and for three people staying one night with two meals the price was in the 6000‑yen range per person. Such great value is rare these days. A few local elders and a handful of Southeast Asian trainees run the place, so it feels like a small operation. A web‑check‑in email prompted me to send my data at lunch, but when I arrived the reservation wasn’t on file. Luckily there were many empty rooms and I was given a room right away. A bug got mixed into the folded sheets, and when I opened the window to let it out, a hibernating insect fell out in a shower… better not open windows in winter. At checkout the confirmation was fine and no charge exceeded the payment made through the booking platform.

I think keeping the price low by offering just the essentials is ideal. In terms of value for money, there’s nothing missing.
