“Romance in the middle of Old Quebec”
The staff at this hotel is fantastic. The location could not be better. It was our anniversary and they left us a little treat in our room which was so unexpectedly sweet. The vibe is charming. Breakfast and breakfast area perfect. I left something behind in the room and they let me know right away and had it sent to me. I would say that the the service was impeccable. Parking is only a pblock away, once you find it (contact hotel in advance for address for parking lot.) Very convenient. There were a couple of things that didn't quite work for us, which kept this from being a 10, mostly around the bathroom. The bathroom was so small that there wasn't a real place to put any of your belongings. Because there is a sink in the main part of the room, we left toiletries there, even tho it was a "kitchen sink". I think the furnishings could have been set up differently, maybe a comfortable chair or sofa. A note to older visitors - there is a very steep entry way and no elevator in the hotel (part of its charm). Staff will help you get your things upstairs with a dumbwaiter but this is only a place for able-bodied people
