“Nette Gegend, Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen.”

The surroundings were very nice and the cleaning lady was very friendly, but the sink was broken, there were mold spots in the shower, and the stairwell walls were damp. It was very loud; I could hear phone calls from the room opposite. I only saw the owner when we were checking out, he was being addressed informally even though I used formal address, which was quite unfriendly. He didn’t address my comment about the broken sink either.

“Blick auf den See”

Room 6 was bright, large, with a balcony overlooking the lake; it was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The TV had streaming services, but the Wi‑Fi was a bit spotty. Cyclists beware: there was no dinner service, and the drive back to town was a hassle.

“Good country style visit with great views.”

The view was great and the air felt crisp and clean, but the hotel is a bit far from the town centre, which was a downside.

“Nettes Gästehaus direkt am Chiemsee.”

Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Schade eigentlich. Sehr nettes Gästehaus direkt am Chiemsee. Sehr freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer. Hat alles gut gepasst. Was will man mehr. Klar war es keine 5*-Absteige. Aber das braucht man auch nicht. Es war wirklich gemütlich. Uns hat es gut gepasst
